يتناول البحث كيفية استخدام تقنية الواقع الافتراضي في تحديد هيئة المعلقات النسجية المطبوعة، وتحديد مدى ملائمتها للحيز المكاني الذي توضع فيه، من حيث الشكل واللون والمساحة والتصميم قبل تنفيذها الأمر الذي يوفر كثيراً من الوقت والجهد والمال، ويلقى الضوء كذلك على العلاقة بين المعلقات النسجية المطبوعة، وبين المكان الذي سوف تعرض فيه، ومدى ملائمتها للجدار المعلقة عليه، مما يؤدي إلى انعدام الخوف من النتائج المرتقبة للتصميم، والقدرة على اختيار المعلق المناسب للمكان المناسب. ويهدف البحث إلى: إضافة تقنية الواقع الافتراضي لتقنيات التصميم النسجي المطبوع لاستخدامها كمردود للبحث في المجال التعليمي، وتطوير أسلوب تصميم المعلقات النسجية المطبوعة و وكذا استحداث تصميمات طباعية للمعلقات النسجية تلائم الحيز المكاني الموجودة فيه. ويتبع البحث المنهج الوصفي والتجريبي من خلال وصف وتحليل لأعمال فنية منفذة باستخدام تقنية الواقع الافتراضي، والمنهج التجريبي في تصميم معلقات نسجية طباعية تلائم الحيز المكاني الموجود فيه افتراضياً، من حيث الهيئة واللون والمساحة والملمس من إنتاج الباحثة. وقد أسفر البحث على النتائج التالية: إمكانية استخدام تقنية الواقع الافتراضي في تصور أو تخيل شكل وهيئة المعلقات النسجية المطبوعة قبل تنفيذها باستخدام الحاسوب، وإمكانية ابتكار تصميمات متنوعة للمعلقات النسجية المطبوعة تلائم الحيز المكاني الموجودة فيه، وتكسبها ثراء ذو أبعاد متنوعة وكذا إمكانية تحديد شكل الواقع الافتراضي الملائم للمعلقات النسجية المطبوعة وطرح مداخل تجريبية جديدة لإيجاد صياغات تشكيلية مستحدثة للمعلقات النسجية المطبوعة وتوفير الوقت والجهد والمال والنتائج الغير مقبولة في إنتاج المعلقات النسجية المطبوعة باستخدام تقنية الواقع الافتراضي. ويوصي البحث بما يلي: إعداد المزيد من الدراسات المتخصصة التي تهتم بالتطوير الفني والتقني لمجال طباعة المنسوجات، وإعداد برنامج تدريبي لتأهيل الطلاب وخريجي قسم طباعة المنسوجات بالكليات والمعاهد الفنية لاستخدام تقنيات الحاسوب المختلفة في التصميم الطباعي على منتجات طباعية متنوعة تثري مجال طباعة المنسوجات، وضرورة المزج بين المجالات الفنية المختلفة، وعدم الفصل بينها ومحاولة استثمار الرؤية التكاملية لإثراء الأعمال الفنية والتدريب على الطرق والأساليب الحديثة في تنفيذ المنسوجات المطبوعة لتحقيق العالمية في التصميم، وتبادل المعلومات والآراء لاستيعاب التكنولوجيا الحديثة وتطويعها لخدمة وتطوير مجال تصميم طباعة المنسوجات.
