المستخلص: تهدف الدراسة الإثنوغرافية هذه إلى وصف وتحليل الطقوس الدينية التي يمارسها الدروز وارتباطها المتلازم بمراسم التكريس المتعلقة بنظام التدرج القيادي المتبع داخل الطائفة الدرزية، وتسلط الضوء على الدور الذي تقوم به الرئاسة الروحية العليا (مشيخة العقل). ومن أجل الوقوف على حقيقة العلاقة المتلازمة ما بين الدين والقيادة، والأسس والشروط اللازم توفرها بمن يريد أن يكون مريدا وقائدا وبغية تحقيق هذا الهدف فقد عمد الباحث إلى الإقامة في الميدان مستعينا بأسلوب الملاحظة بالمشاركة وإجراء المقابلات المطولة مع كثير من الدروز المتدينين وغير المتدينين في كل من الأردن وسوريا، ومع بعض الدروز الذين خرجوا عن الطائفة، إضافة لبعض اللقاءات مع المجاورين لهم من غير الدروز. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن طبيعة العلاقة المتلازمة والمتداخلة ما بين الطقوس الدينية والقيادة الدرزية ما كانت لتوجد إلا من اجل حمايتهم لأنهم كانوا باستمرار مضطهدين وملاحقين بسبب معتقداتهم التي كانت بنظر كثير ممن عاصرهم تعتبر بعيدة كل البعد عن الدين الإسلامي، وضرورة اقتضتها الظروف السياسية والتاريخية والاجتماعية التي مر بها الدروز.

This ethnographic study aims at investigating, describing and analyzing the inseparable interdependence between the religious rituals practiced by the Druze and the initiation ceremonies related to the stratification system of leadership fixed by the Druze sect. The study also sheds light on the importance and the role carried out by the Supreme Spiritual Presidency of the Druze sect. With the purpose of revealing the reality of this inseparable and interference relationship, as well as the conditions and characteristics that should be present in a Druze individual who seeks to be a leader, the investigator carried out a fieldwork study using the participant observation and prolonged interviews with the practitioners and nonpractitioners Druze in Jordan and Syria. Furthermore, the author interviewed the Druze individuals that have abandoned the Druze sect and the non-Druze neighbors. The study concludes that this inseparable and interdependent relationship between the religious rituals and leadership ceremonies has existed as a protection because the Druze sect has been continuously persecuted for their doctrines and religious beliefs that were considered by their contemporaries as a contradiction to the principles of the Islamic religion (anti-Islamic) and outside of the real Islam. This link between religion and leadership among the Druze was also found to be an indispensable necessity that demanded political, historical and social conditions that Druze have lived.
