بدأت الثورة الليبية بمظاهرات في 15شباط 2011، بعد الاحتجاجات التي حصلت في تونس ومصر، إذ أعطتها دافعاً كبيراً في المضي حتى إسقاط النظام السياسي الليبي (القذافي) وبالتعاون مع حلف شمال الأطلسي وعدد من الدول الأوربية التي اعترفت بالمجلس الوطني الليبي الانتقالي. وقد توافرت دوافع داخلية وخارجية أدت إلى انهيار نظام القذافي، تمثلت الدوافع الداخلية بطبيعة النظام السياسي الدكتاتوري، الفاقد للشرعية واحتكاره للسلطة وقمع المعارضة , السياسية، والتحكم بالاقتصاد الليبي وحرمان الشعب الليبي من ثروته التي بددها القذافي علي الأنفاق التسليح وتمويل الإرهاب، مما أنتج وضعاً اقتصادياً متردياً في نواحي الحياة المختلفة . أما الدوافع الخارجية تمثلت تحديداً بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية التي أعادت ترتيب إستراتيجيتها في المنطقة العربية بما يحقق مصالح أمنها ومصالح حلفائها. وبعد انهيار النظام السياسي الليبي السابق فإن ليبيا (الدولة والشعب)، واجهت وستواجه تحديات تمثلت بالتحدي السياسي والسيادي والأمني، وأمام هذه التحديات تقع علي عاتق الدولة الجديدة علاجات لها الطريق الاتفاق علي مشروع وطني يكفل حقوق وحريات الشعب والإسهام الكامل في العملية السياسية من قبل المجتمع الليبي عبر كتابة دستور والاهتمام بالجانب الاقتصادي وتوفير الأمن وإعادة بناء العلاقات الدولية العربية.
The Libyan revolution started by demonstrations on 15th Feb. 2011 after the revolutions of Tunisia & Egypt, where the gave it a push to continue going ahead till the fan of the political regime in Libya (Al- Gathafi regime) & With the aid of the NATO & some European states which acknowledge " the transported Libyan patriotic council ". There were many inside & foreign motives led to the fall of AL Gathafi regime, the inside motives were represent by the nature of dictator ate poetical regime, which lost its litigated existence, its keeping for the authority, the oppression of the political opposition, & the controlling the economy & depriving the peoples of Libya from their fortunes which Al-Gathafi spent on purchasing armors & funding terrorism . Which led to an oppressed economical situation for the different sides of life? As for the foreign motives the were strictly rep reseated by U.S~ which reorganize its strategies especially in the Arabic area in away to achieve its national security interests and its alliances interests And after the collapse of the previous political regime in Libya, today Libya "the state & the people" faced & will face challenges represented by the political, the Authorative & the security challenges. And of these challenges put the burden on the shoulders of this new state of providing cure through the agreement on a patriotic project that guarantee the rights & freedoms of the people and the full participation of the Libyan society by writing constitution, taking care for the economical side, providing security, & rebuild the Arabic & international relationships
