المستخلص: This research aimed at studying the rhyme in the Holy Qur'an it represents the base of the aesthetic structure because it includes two structural factors formed the formal aspects; rhythm and paronomasia which paralyzed meter and rhyme scheme in poetry, both of them affected the receiver with a difference that the formal aspect in the Holy Qur'an, rather than poetry, is very connected with meaning. \ The research is divided into four topics:(rhyme in language and tradition),(the rhyme un development reasons) ,(rhyme in the modernists tradition)and(the function of rhyme) respectively. \ The research obtains a set of the important reasons that might be summarized as following: \ 1. The formal structural definitions of rhyme are used since Al- Khaleel bin Ahamed Al Farahidy, no one had added an essential point., save some prosodic rule that did not help the research because they did not depend on a prefect scientific reading of the immortal creative text. Rhythm is a significant one should be studied according to the pragmatic functional methods that considered the relation the relation between sounds semantics and the aesthetic effect. \ 2. Rhyme did not develop due to the difficulty of codify this method because it moves with the rhythmical meaning. Moreover there are two structural factors that act ate the same time which are rhythm and paronomasia, as well as semantics, this might limited the vision that had studied the creative by a partitioned vision, dividing it into sentences and paragraphs, separating the deep and surface structures. \ The religious factors had participated in wasting many research efforts, that many researchers were misguided, because they considered rhythm as a per-Islamic literary type than a method, this factors was clarified for the Westerns, may be due to different religious motives, or due to the different languages and cultures.
