This study aims to identify issues of Jerusalem in major Palestinian news websites - Ma’an, Palestine Press and Palestin¬ian information Center - and the extent of utilizing advantages of electronic publishing in highlighting the afore-mentioned issues, as well as identifying their categories, scope of coverage, sources, journalistic arts used in their presentation and interested parties. The study found that study sites have not benefited from the possibilities of electronic publishing required primarily to provide issues of Jerusalem, as they have used the form of headlines at a percentage of 51.5% of the models of tackled topics. They have also used pictures at a percentage of 36.2%, and services that go with comments on articles and individual points of view at 37.4% . The study has also shown that issues related to negotiations came first in importance at 17.2%. where they dwelled an local issues at 89.2%, and where journalistic arts climaxed to 89 5% . The study has also shown that the positive trend was prevalent in methods used in handling those issues, at 40,9%, and that 28,3% of those interested in issues of Jerusalem were official and governmental bodies, with in the total cases in the study sites |
