المستخلص: The objective of this paper is to discuss the practical determinants of (CBM) and analysis a phenomenon of investment participation with ownership and management by Joint Ventures between foreign partners and local partners - Yemen Investors - when they are desire to set up the new investment projects in economical environment at Aden Free Zone R-Y.
This paper treated in the process of (CBM) different determinants and estimated foreign participation Joint Ventures materialized in response to growth of surplus local capital and the desire of the partners to develop income sources from project activities.
The input contributions of the local and foreign partners in these ventures were quite different. Local partner - National investor in Yemen -mainly contributes generously in the provision of capital, raw materials, utilities and infrastructures. Foreign partners preferably to provide the services in technical and technological fields, managerial and marketing of products, rather than capital. It is argued that this imbalance of project input contributions led to quite different strategies by the local and foreign partners to achieve investment returns. The local partners are seen to be primarily concerned on optimizing operating profits. While foreign partners are seen to gain more from project cost maximization.
These hypotheses are tested in this study with using a micro -economic of (CBM) and model results are shown to indicate at the potential weakness and strength in Joint Ventures Structures.
Finally, these results of (CBM) will help suggest how local partner benefits can take advantage of an opportunity from the venture projects at the economic investment in Aden Free Zone.
