المستخلص: There have been many U.N’s legislations which are focusing on improving female’s status to be able to make decisions in the field of mass media. Unesco also have held Many conferences and training sessions to give an equal chance for women to be represented in these activities. In this way women will be able to make decisions in all leading administrative level. From the early start of the Egyptian Radio and Television women were occuping leading and administrative positions where Safya El Mohands was appointed as the first head of the broadcasting in 1975. It was found that seven women occupied central positions in television (as the head of the television) since 1977 till 2008. The Egyptian Women also were appointed in different leading and administrative positions such as : - The head of the general board of ERTU. - The head of the financial and economic sector. - The head of the broadcasting engineering. When the satellite channels were inaugurated in 1995 two women were appointed as the head of this sector, the same happened with the sector of specialized nile channels in 1996 where two women were appointed as the head of this sector. The content: It should be mentioned that the Egyptian women participate in producing both serious and non-serious programs in radio, television and satellite channels. They participated in different areas of production such as : - Presentation. - Script writing. - Direction. - Editing. - Audio engineering.
