اهتمت هذه الدراسة بإيضاح أهمية المجتمع المحلي والتنمية المحلية وكيفية إحداثها من خلال أدبيات تنمية المجتمع المحلي، تركيزا على منطقة الجوف، وتبيين مدي الحاجة لإيجاد برامج لتنمية المجتمع المحلي بالمنطقة، وإيضاح مدي إمكانية استفادة المجتمع المحلي بالمنطقة من خطة مستقبلية متوقعة للتنمية المحلية، ثم تناولت بالتحليل والنقاش نتائج الدراسة الميدانية التي أجريناها في المنطقة ومن ثم خلصنا إلي استنتاجات وتوصيات الدراسة. حيث تمثلت أهم النتائج في أهمية إيجاد مشروعات فعالة لتنمية المجتمعات المحلية، مع إمكانية استفادة مجتمع المنطقة المحلي من مشروعات تنمية المجتمع المحلي إذا تم إنشاؤها. أما التوصيات فقد تمثل أهمها في: زيادة المجهود البحثي في هذا المجال، وزيادة التدريب فيما يتعلق بتنمية المجتمعات المحلية وإيجاد آليات فاعلة للتخطيط والتنفيذ والتقييم في مجال تنمية المجتمعات المحلية ومراعاة أسس التخطيط عند التخطيط للتنمية في المجتمعات المحلية.
This study was conducted to clarify the importance of community , local development and the possibility of its creation through the literature of local community development, the study focuses on Al- Jouf Area, It identifies the need to find programs for community development in the region. It also clarifies the extent to which the local community in the region can benefit from a future expected plan for local development. The study analyzed and debate the results of the field study conducted in the region. It presents the conclusions and recommendations of the study. The most important results are the importance of creating effective projects for the development of local communities, and the possibility to benefit the local community of the area from local community development projects when they are established . The most important recommendations are the need for increasing the research effort and the training for the development of local communities besides creating effective mechanisms for planning, implementing and evaluating in the field of community development and take into account the basis of planning when planning for development in the local communities.
