هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الوقوف على العلاقة بين القيم المقدمة في "يوميات ونيس" وبين تبني عينة من الأطفال المصريين لهذه القيم. وذلك من خلال منهج المسح الإعلامي بالعينة عن طريق أداتي تحليل المضمون والاستبيان وذلك بتحليل مضمون المسلسل المكون من سبعة أجزاء (حتى تاريخ إعداد هذه الدراسة) وتنقسم هذه الأجزاء إلى 242 حلقة اذيعت على مدى ثمانية عشر عاما. وذلك بالإضافة إلى دراسة ميدانية على عينة من الأطفال والمراهقين من سن (9-18) سنة لعينة بشرية قوامها 400 مفردة وذلك لمعرفة العلاقة بين القيم المقدمة في المسلسل وبين تبني هؤلاء الأطفال والمراهقين لهذه القيم. وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج كان من أهمها: 1- توجد علاقة إيجابية قوية بين كثافة المشاهدة ومستوى تبني المبحوثين للقيم المقدمة في مسلسل "يوميات ونيس". أي انه كلما زاد معدل مشاهدة المبحوث للمسلسل وبين مستوى تبنيه للقيم المقدمة في المسلسل. 2- هناك علاقة إيجابية بين سن المبحوث وبين نوع القيم الأكثر إقناعا. 3- لا توجد علاقة بين متغيرات (السن /نوع التعليم /المستوى التعليمي) ومدى حرص المبحوثين على ممارسة القيم والسلوكيات المقدمة في المسلسل. 4- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متغير السن ونوع الأسلوب الأكثر تأثيرا وإقناعاً عند تقديم القيم في المسلسل لصالح الأكبر سناً.
