يدرس هذا البحث جانبًا من جوانب رؤية العالم يتعلق بعملية إنتاج العالم وفق رؤية الشخصية، كما يدرس علاقة هذا العالم بالواقع، مع التركيز على آليات عملية إنتاج العالم ضمن حدود السرد. وذلك من خلال تحليل نموذج من العالم المنتج في قصة قصيرة في ظل محيط مادي متمثل في الظلام ومحيط نفسي يبرز من خلال الخوف. وقد راعت هذه الدراسة المعطيات المرتبطة بإنتاج رؤية العالم من خلال النص القصصي، ومكونات ذلك النص من شخصيات ومكان وزمان وحدث ولغة، وما يحيط به من ظروف ثقافية واجتماعية ومعرفية ساعدت على تحديد سمات رؤية العالم، وتحكمت في إنتاج واقع متصل بتصورات ذهنية خاصة بالشخصية، وخلص البحث إلى تعيين مجموعة اعتبارات لإنتاج العالم وفق رؤية الشخصية، أفضت إلى ملاحظة أن ذلك العالم لا وجود له في الواقع المعيشي بقدر ما هو متحقق في ذهن الشخصية
The present research addresses the worldview of Najibah, who is the main female character, in the short story of "al-Ghurab" (The Raven), by the Iraqi writer Fu'ad al-Takarli, in attempt to describe various aspects of her character. This study analyzes the effect of cultural, social and cognitive factors on the formation of worldview. The short story of “al-Ghurab” realistically depicts the lives of the characters involved. This makes readers easily connect with the story for its realistic sense and simplicity. “al-Ghurab” also discusses social relations, effect of the environment, behaviors, beliefs, and also the physical aspects of life. Moreover, the use of rich language loaded with emotional and folk imagery is evident in the story making the linguistic element essential to understand the characters. The story shows various physical, mental, and emotions features of the character Najibah. The physical discourse of the story is constructed via the presence of a lonely woman, with her two children in an absence of her husband. She also lives with her brother-in-law’s wife. The emotional sense is realized via Najibah's internal thoughts about the alleged affair of her husband with his sister-in-law. These thoughts strongly influence her behaviors in the story. After psycho-social analysis of the different social, cultural, linguistic, and cognitive elements of the story, the study concludes that the worldview in fact exists as a physical reality in as much as it exists as an emotional construct in the character’s mind. Therefore, creating one’s worldview may result by inflecting reality with imagination which is by itself influenced by intrinsic psychological and mental factors.
