يحاول هذا البحث أن يتلمس بعض النماذج الأدبية المنطوية في كتاب "معجم البلدان" لياقوت الحموي ت 626 هـ، حيث يسلط الضوء على خطاب المفاضلات النثرية بين المدن والأمصار، ويحاول أن يبحث في أبرز ما دفع إليها، والقوالب الشكلية التي تلبس بها، وألمع السمات الفنية المتواترة في النصوص التي لملمتها من هذا المعجم. ويقف البحث شاهدا على أهمية كتب التراث، وبقاء معينها ثرا لمزيد من الدراسات والأبحاث التي تقدم شواهد من أدب العرب الرصين، واللغة الراقية، إضافة إلى طرافة هذا اللون الأدبي "محل الدراسة" الذي تنحرف فيه العاطفة الذاتية إلى عاطفة الجماعة، وينصهر الفرد في المجموعة المكانية، ويتحول الأديب من منافحة الذات والقبيلة إلى منافحة الموطن والبلد. وفي خطاب المفاضلات النثرية بين البلدان والأمصار نقف على نماذج طريفة من الأدب الذي وقف وراءه حب الوطن، والرغبة في الانتماء، والبحث عن الترويح، وتعظيم الأماكن المقدسة، وتشكلت تلك النماذج في أجناس مختلفة، وأشكال متعددة كشفت عن رغبة الأدباء في إعلاء شأن بلد، والنيل من آخر بطرائق متعددة، بحثا عن التأثير في المتلقين، وإقناعهم بالتحسين أو التقبيح، وقد اشتركت تلك النماذج في بعض السمات الفنية، مضمونا، وشكلا، حاولت أن أتلمسها، وأن أقدم ما يمكن أن يتسع له نطاق هذا البحث. أرجو أن تكون هذه الدراسة فاتحة لدراسات أخرى لمعجم ياقوت من جهة، وللمفاضلات المكانية شعرا ونثرا من جهة أخرى\
This research tries to find some literary models involving in "Majam Albldan Book'' Countries Dictionary by Yaqoot Al-Hamoudi. Year 626 AH: where it sheds light on the prosaic differential speech between the cities and countries, as well as searching for the most outstanding motivations, their forms, in addition to the most outstanding artistic features mentioned in the collected texts of this dictionary This research stands as a witness of the importance of heritage books, as well as the survival as the source of more and more of studies, and researches that provide evidence of the great Arab literature, and highest language, in addition to the originality of this type of literature "under study'', where the self-passion moves to be group- passion. as well as the individual becomes one of the spatial group and the author moves from self and tribe supporting citizen and country supporting. In the prosaic differential spcech between the cities and countries, we stand on the interesting models from the literature, which stand behind it the homeland and the desire of affiliation, searing of recreating, and glorification of the holy places, these models have been formed in different types, and various forms that revealed the desire of authors of raising their countries, as well as overcoming the others with different methods, through influence the audiences, and persuading them with improvement or ugliness. These models have been involved in some of the artistic features, content, and form, where I tried to find them, and introducing them as much as this research can have. Hoping that this research is to be as a beginning for other researches for Yaqoot Dictionary on one hand, and spatial differential, in the terms of poetry and prose from the other hand. \
