The main objective of this work is to contribute into guiding the old Arabic understanding to the source of the different Arabic morpho-phonological phenomena, and their various contexts as well as evaluating the methods of their description and analysis. This will be done through deducing the constraints and rules upon which the old Arabic morpho-phonological analysis has based its theoretical and procedural foundations. In this sense, we will need to examine the conceptual system as well as the methodological tools on which were established, in general, the principles of Arabic language grammar and the treatment of its morpho-phonological phenomena in particular. We will attempt to prove that the principles of old Arabic morpho-phonological analysis are founded on the rules upon which the old Arab scientists built the basics of Arabic language study in general. Consequently, all the morpho-phonological researches of Arabic language are based on the constraints, which organize all the phenomena of language as well as the interaction between its unities. We will try to confirm our theoretical points of view (in every situation) through presenting empirical arguments that are capable to simplify the rules and constraints and to help us grasp the conditions of each phenomenon in every situation.
