المستخلص: The present study deals with one of the Arab famous personality. This study, as far as the researcher knows, has not been studied yet. Omar Ibn Abaidullah is one of the nobles in Basrah. He was in charge of the administration of Basrah and Kofa under the rule of Abdullah bin Zuhair on whom the ruler was relying significantly since he is a famous and experienced militant at that time. Omar belongs to Taim tribe from which first Muslim Caliph Abu Bakir Al-Sideeq. He played a significant role in ruling Basrah and the Persian Province. He exerted great efforts in saving any external attacks as happened when Basrah attacked by the Ommiads. Similarly, he had a role in defeating any insurgency movement in addition to many other military campaigns.
