This topic of Waqf Investment is considerably dealt with. It talks about the Role of speculation in Waqf through the following points: Waqf is favorable because it is beneficial for the poor , the needy and others. It is also rewarded in the Hereafter if it is intended for Allah’s sake, it is legislated by the Holy Quran, the Sunna and Unanimity of Scholars. Waqf is based on four pillars, they are: the term (words) establishing it, the person who pronounces the term, the object given as a waqf and the beneficiary. Investment in the field of waqf is one of the areas that show the carefulness of Islam to do good, invest money and distribute gains on the needy with care on keeping assets for the investor to reinvest and be a source of continuous returns for stable benefits. Developing waqf, investing it, building it up and increasing its income is something legally required because it is not allowed to obstruct and freeze nor reduce its income, as it is unanimously demanded by various Fiqh doctrines. Those in charge of waqf have to take several ways to put waqf possessions in a condition to be valid for investment. Speculation bonds( bonds which represent a common portion of money raised for investment to gain profit) issued by the investor as he is a Mudhareb or issued by another person for the account of the investor which is exchangeable into money.
