لم تعرف البشرية دينا عني بالمرأة اجمل عناية وأتمها مثل الدين الإسلامي، ولم يعرف تاريخ الحضارات الإنسانية حضارة كالحضارة الإسلامية، قامت على أكتاف الرجال والنساء سواء بسواء، بل وضعت المرأة في مكانة مساوية للرجل لا تقل عنه ولا تتأخر، وأصبحت وضعية المرأة في العصر الحديث تتأرجح بين التفريط في حقها بإهدار حقوقها وتهميش موقعها، بل احتقارها في أكثر من مجال، مع أنها الجدة والأم، والزوجة والأخت، والابنة والحفيدة، والخالة والعمة... إلخ.. وبين الإفراط في حقها؛ فأعطي لها ما ليس لها، فتحملت ما ليس عليها، وما لا يناسبها. ويحاول هذا البحث أن يظهر وضع المرأة في الحضارات القديمة والحديثة، ويكشف الرؤية الحقيقية للمرأة في الإسلام وعند المسلمين وفي مجتمعاتهم، والاهتمام بمستقبل المرأة ودورها الإنساني، ومشكلات حياتها المعاصرة، والحلول المطروحة لمعالجة هذه المشكلات. يسعى هذا البحث إلى دراسة مكانة المرأة في الإسلام مقارنة بأوضاعها في الحضارات الأخرى في القديم والحديث، ويشتمل على الوضع التاريخي للمرأة منذ العصور القديمة إلى العصور الحديثة، والتحديات التي تواجه المرأة المسلمة في هذا العصر، والمرأة المسلمة والمؤتمرات الدولية، والحركة الأنثوية في الغرب، والصورة المشوهة للمرأة المسلمة في الغرب، والسر في تركيز الغرب على المرأة المسلمة، والدعوة لتحرير المرأة. ويتضمن كذلك المرأة في التشريع الإسلامي: المرأة في القرآن الكريم، والإسلام أنصف المرأة، وشهادة المرأة، وكذلك في السنة المطهرة. توصلت هذه الدراسة إلى نتائج من أهمها: أن المرأة في بداية عهدها على الأرض، وقبل عصر التاريخ المعروف لنا، كانت تعيش على فطرتها السوية التي خلقها الله تعالى عليها، فكانت شريكة الرجل في حياته وعمله. وكانت مكانة المرأة في الحضارات القديمة -مثل مكانة العبد -ملكا لأبيها ولزوجها، تباع وتشترى كالسلع التجارية، وينظر إليها نظرة كلها احتقار، ولم يكن في العالم أقل قيمة من المرأة. وما يحدث في الحضارة الغربية المعاصرة: هو رد فعل لما كان يحدث في الحضارات القديمة، وأن كلا الوضعين غير سوي، فبينما كان الأول إجحافا ظالما للمرأة، يسلبها إنسانيتها، ويحرمها كل حق لها" فإن رد الفعل المعاصر قد شطح في الجانب المقابل فأعطى المرأة حقوقا كثيرة، منها: ما هو مفسد لها ولمجتمعها، وان كان قد أزال كثيرا من ألوان الظلم الذي كان واقعا عليها، ولكنه لم يقف عند نقطة الوسط الموزونة، بل استبدل انحرافا بانحراف، حين أعطاها حق الفساد الخلقي باسم الحرية الشخصية؛ فانحلت الأسرة وتخلخل المجتمع، وانتشرت فيه ألوان من الفساد. إن الإسلام في المقابل هو المنهج الصحيح، البريء من انحرافات البشر، واهتم اهتماما عظيما بالمرأة وبمكانتها في المجتمع منذ ميلادها حتى وفاتها، بل وبعد وفاتها حيث الجزاء والثواب والعقاب حسب عملها. ووجدت المرأة في الإسلام مكانة لم تحظ المرأة بمثلها في شرع سماوي سابق ولا اجتماع إنساني تواضع عليه الناس فيما بينهم.
The world has not known a religion that cares for woman better and perfect than Islam. Equally, the history of human civilizations has not known a better civilization than the Islamic civilization built by men as well as woman and in a place equal to that of men not less nor lower. In modern times the place of woman is wavering between negligence of her rights and even looking down at her as inferior to man. She is deprived of natural rights given to her by Shari’a though she is the grandmother, the mother, the wife, the sister, the daughter and the granddaughter besides being the aunt... etc. on the other hand, giving the woman more than her natural rights resulted in overloading her with responsibilities more than she can endure or fit for. This research tries to show the place of woman in ancient and modern civilizations and reveal the real picture of woman in Islam among Muslims , besides, caring for the future of woman and her human role, in addition, to her modem life problems providing solutions to these problems. This research seeks to show the place of woman in Islam compared with her position in other ancient and modern civilizations. It also shows the historical position of woman in ancient times until modern age. Besides, the challenges Muslim woman faces in these days. We include the Muslim woman in international conferences and feminine movements in the west in addition to the defamed picture of Muslim woman in the west and why the western media focus on Muslim woman claiming that she is enslaved and needs to be liberated . These claims imply that Islamic legislation and the Holy Qur’an unfair to women .On the contrary, Islam is fair to woman and approved women to be witnesses. She is esteemed in the Holy Sunna as well. This study reaches some conclusions such like: woman since earliest times before the known recorded history on earth was living on her nature as Allah created her. She was partner to man in work and life but in ancient civilizations her place was like a slave’s place bonded to her father or husband and can be sold or bought just like a slave or merchandise. She was despised and considered inferior to man. What happens in modern civilization has come as a reaction to what had happened in ancient civilizations. Both situations are not rightful nor fair. Whilst the first had been full of injustice and oppression depriving her from her human status and from every right she had, the modern reaction has gone too far on the opposite direction. It gave woman too many rights, some are corrupting her and her society though it removed too much injustice against her but this good treatment did not stop in the middle way which is the golden rule but it displaced this by excess when she was given the right for her own character’s corruption under the spoiling personal freedom of loose behavior which resulted in libertine and looseness against solid family relationship. In consequence society became loose full of all kinds of evil as a result of family decadence. Islam, on the contrary is the sound and safe discipline that freed woman and let her live in dignity. Islam cared for woman and put her in a high, dignified place in society from birth to death, and even after death where she may be rewarded for her good deeds or punished for bad deeds. Woman found her prestigious place in Islam that no previous heavenly legislation has ever given.
