فقد كثر في هذا الزمان الذين يتتبعون رخص المذاهب بحثاً عن أسهل الأقوال وأخفها، وقد تناولت هذا البحث وفق المباحث الآتية: المبحث الأول: في بيان معنى تتبع الرخص. المبحث الثاني: في بيان حكم تتبع الرخص، ذكرت الأقوال في المسألة، وأدلة كل قول، والترجيح. المبحث الثالث: في بيان منشأ الخلاف في تتبع الرخص، وقسمته إلى ثلاثة مطالب هي: حكم الالتزام بمذهب معين، وحكم الانتقال بين المذاهب، وحكم التلفيق. المبحث الرابع: في باين صور تتبع الرخص، وفيه مطلبان: الأول ذكرت فيه صور تتبع الرخص عند المفتي، والثاني في صور تتبع الرخص عند المستفتي. المبحث الخامس: في بيان موقف المستفتي من تعارض الفتوى، ومتى يجوز له أن يتخير بينها. المبحث السادس: في بيان حكم استفتاء من عرف بالفتوى بالقول الأسهل. وفي الخاتمة: أوجزت فيها أهم التنائج التي توصلت إليها.
