يعد علم العلل من أجل عموم الحديث وأشرفيا وأدقها وانما يتمكن منه أهل الحفظ والخبرة والفهم الثاقب ولهذا لم يتكلم فيه إلا القليل ، كابن المديني ، وأحمد والبخاري ويعقوب بن أبي شيبة وأبي حاتم وأبي زرعة و الدارقطني. قال الحاكم: إنما يعل الحديث من أوجه ليس لمجرح فيها مدخل، والحجة في التعميل عندنا بالحفظ، والفهم، والمعرفة لا غير. لذلك كان لابد من تحديد أهم الأسباب التي تؤدي إلى حدوث العلة ، إذ الكلام عن هذه الأسباب ، منظما مجتمعا لم يقع في كتاب من الكتب التي تعرضت لمعمل، مع أن كتاب ابن رجب هو كتاب العمل الوحيد الذي تكلم على العلل بوصفه علماً له قواعده وأقسامه إلا انه لم يفصل أسباب العلل في مبحث مستقل ، وإنما عرض لها في مواضع متفرقة ، لذلك ارتأيت دارسة الاختلاط كونه سبباً من أسبـاب العلة فضـلاً عن انه لم يحـظ بتصانيف كافية وهو جدير بها، ولعل دارستنا هذه هي بداية المحاولة في هذا الترتيب النظري لعلم العلل . أسال الله تعالى أن يوفقنا وان ينفعنا بما علمنا وان يعلمنا ما ينفعنا انه سميع مجيب الدعاء.

Therefore, I decided to separates the reasons for the ills from independent but presented in separate places that I thought mixing as the beginning of a cause of the illness in addition to that he did not receive sufficient under and it deserves by study perhaps this is the beginning of the attempt in the arrangement for the information of theoretical ills as the beginning of this study.
