كان وما يزال القرآن الكريم محط أنظار الدارسين، ومناط بحثهم في كل مكان وزمان، فهو معين ثر لا ينضب لكل العلوم والمعارف، يتناول المعاني الدقيقة، فكل كلمة أو حرف أو حركة فيه تناسب موقعها وتوافق القصد منها سواء أدركه المشتغلون بتفسيره وإعرابه أم لم يدركوه، والنحويون الذين كانت لهم اسهامات تعد بحق مظهراً من مظاهر الجهد النحوي بالقرآن الكريم تستحق الشكر والثناء. وقد بين المختصون في علوم القرآن والتفسير مكانة سورة الكهف وقدسيتها وأجر من يقرؤها أو يحفظها، مما حدا الباحثين على دراستها من مختلف الجوانب، فعمدت على دراستها ليقف هذا البحث إلى جانب تلك الدراسات التي فاضت بها اقلام الباحثين وليكشف بعض الأمور في علم النحو تزاد على ما كشفت عنه البحوث السالفة في مختلف الاختصاصات. وقد اقتضت طبيعة البحث أن اقسمه قسمين الأول يتناول النفي في سورة الكهف، والقسم الثاني يتناول الاستفهام في سورة الكهف. تهدف الرسالة إلى دراسة الجملة العربية في سياق النفي والاستفهام كما جاءت في سورة الكهف من حيث أنماطها المختلفة وطبيعتها، ويقوم البحث على استخراج المادة اللغوية من واقع السورة مع مقارنتها بآراء النحاة، وهذا يتطلب الإطلاع بعمق على كتب التراث اللغوي العربي، لبحث المادة المأخوذة من السورة في ضوء آراء النحاة ومناقشة هذه الآراء. وتناولت في القسم الجملة الفعلية والاسمية في سياق النفي استهللته بمعنى النفي وجمعت أدوات النفي في السورة وقسمتها إلى ما ينفي الحال، وما ينفي الماضي، وما ينفي المستقبل، وتقوم الدراسة على ذكر أنماط كل أداة كما جاءت في السورة وما تؤديه من وظيفة نحوية ودلالية. أما القسم الثاني فقد كان حول الجملة الفعلية والاسمية في سياق الاستفهام استهللته بمعنى الاستفهام اللغوي والاصطلاحي ثم درست أدوات الاستفهام الواردة في سورة الكهف متبعاً الطريقة نفسها التي أتبعتها في القسم الأول. ولقد حاولت في هذا البحث تجنب الإطالة والاستطراد في الموضوعات، ولذلك جاء البحث بحجم المعلومات التي حصلت عليها، إذ حاولت جهدي أن أقدمها مركزة وبدون مقومات قد تقلل من أهميتها.
