تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إثبات وجود المقدمة الغزلية في قصيدة الرثاء الهذلية، إذ إن القدماء وكثيرا من المحدثين أنكروا وجود مثل هذه المقدمة في قصائد الرثاء في العصر الجاهلي والعصور التي تلته، لأنها تتلاءم برأيهم مع مشاعر الفقه والأسى. درس البحث المقدمة الغزلية في قصائد الرثاء عند أبي ذؤيب وأبي صخر الهذلي بوصفه ما اثنين من شعرائهم المشهورين، وبين مدى علاقتها بموضوع الرثاء في شعرهما. وقد امتاز شعر قبيلة هذيل بهذا النمط من المقدمات ولاسيما شعر الرثاء.
This study aims at confirming the existence of the introductory lines that deal with the mention of the remains of the darling's edifice and the mention of love poetry in the elegiac poems of Huthail Clan, for all the ancient and many modern critics and men of letters denied the existence of such literary phenomena in the elegiac poems foundin the pre – Islamic period and in the epochs that follow it because, in their opinion, the existence of such phenomena does not harmonize with the feelings of losing the belored persons and sorrow. The study concentrates ob the introductory part of the elegy which is concerned with the mention of the remains of the darling's edifice with regard to the poet Abu Thu'aib because he is considered to be one of the famous poets of Huthail Clan – Also, the study shows the relationship between tackling the remains of the darling's edifice and the elegiac poetry – However, we have chosen two poets who belong to Huthail Clan: Abu Sakhar and Abu Thu'aib as a topic for studying the opening or the introductory part which deals with love poetry and its relationship with elegiac poetry in their poems. At last, the elegies of the Clan of Huthail consist of openings and introductions which reflect love and memories emanating from the remains of the darling's edifice .
