المستخلص: This study devoted to the emergence of the Arab-Islamic architectural thought and its development. Introduced through a lengthy introduction to the reality of architecture in the Arab world, showed the control methods and concepts of Western architecture in architectural education and in practice. And offered the role of Orientalism and post-modern architecture in the absence of Arab-Islamic architectural thought, and distort the concepts of Islamic architecture. It showed how to set up these misconceptions awareness of academics and practitioners, architects, Arabs and Muslims. The study also demonstrated how these concepts brought them to a state of dependency and intellectual process. Import knowledge and Ajtrunha Ajtarara not afford to produce them, not even to oppose it. Then offered to study for their intended objectives, a statement of the beginning of the emergence of Arab architecture, thought, and the stages of formation, until the completion of its composition as a system of thought.
