المستخلص: تعد جغرافية إسرائيل محركا فاعلا للعمليات الاستيطانية فأن إسرائيل تجد نفسها مضطرة لإعطاء موضوع الأمن أهمية على موضوع الاستيطان ذلك أن تطور العلاقة بين المتغيرين الأمن والاستيطان قد دخل مرحلة بات فيها تغليب الأمن على الاستيطان أمرا لا مفر منه بعدما وصلت الجيوبولتيكا الإسرائيلية إلى اقصى ما يمكن أن نصل إليه من تحقيق لطموحاتها على الأرض الفلسطينية، وعليه يخطئ من يعتبر أن فكرة بناء الجدار العازل خطة طارئة مغزاها امني بل هي خطة قديمة وهي واحدة من الركائز السياسية التي يقوم عليها الفكر الإسرائيلي وهدفها جيوسياسية، وان استمرار إسرائيل في بناء الجدار العازل بمحاذات خطوط الفصل بين الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة عامي 1948 و 1967 ويلتف الجدار الفاصل على مسافة حوالي 45 كم حول القطاع الشمالي من الضفة الغربية ويمر الجدار على الخط الأخضر من الشمال إلى الأردن وبذلك يطوق الضفة بأكملها وكذلك ويضم القطاع الشرقي من القدس، وحسب الإحصاءات الصادرة من مركز الإحصاء الفلسطيني فأن هذا الجدار يختزل 23.4 % من مساحة الضفة ويشرد اكثر من 200 الف فلسطين من بيوتهم، ناهيك عن تحديد جغرافية الدولة الفلسطينية المرتقبة مسبقا والتي من المزمع اقامتها على ارض قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية وفقا لما تنص خارطة الطريق.
