المستخلص: This study deals with the sugar industry in Qena Governorate, from a geographical perspective. The main points of the study are : 3- A Geographical distribution of area and production of sugarcane in the governorate. 4- the growth of sugar industry in the governorate. 3 -A Geographical distribution of the sugar industry in the governorate.. 4- sugar production and production capacity of sugar factories in the governorate. 5- the factors of industrial location in the governorate . 6- the problems facing_the sugar industry in the governorate.. 7 - Conclusion . As a resuit, the study has shown that there are three factories of sugar industry in Qena governorate, it is located in three districts are Nag Hammadi, Qus and Dshina .The study has shown the Qena governorate was distinguished if compared with other governorates of the sugar industry in Egypt.
