|b The founding of the Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc), its development history and analysis of the problems the Agency faced during the process of political changes once again prove that information ptovision is a vital condition for the existence of every state and consolidation of its national and secular ideals. Established by this necessity during the first democratic state in the Muslim East, AzerTAc has been playing a crucial role in implementing Azerbaijan’s information policy and popularizing it in the world. \\ The article highlights the founding of AzerTAc and its development stages as well as national leader Heydar Aliyev’s indispensable role in reorganizing the Agency and strengthening its financial and technical resources.
