المستخلص: Health services are considered of great importance to the lives of people for what they perform of roles concerning the health of the individuals. Their development marks the extent of progress the communities have achieved in the field of human social development as the scholars concerned with urban studies always give health services precedence over other services even the educational because they attain safety for the individual which is eventually reflected on all other activities. The study aims at analyzing the condition of public health services in Al- Khudr city, then matching that condition with the planning standards of Iraq and World Health Organization in order to evaluate those services and identify their deficiency and then proposing the most important ways that ensure the planning treatments of this deficiency. The study has come in three main aspects preceded by theoretical framework. The first aspect involves studying the population of Al-Khudr city in view of their growth rate and geographic distribution in residential quarters while the second aspect has investigated the condition of health services in the city represented by health facilities and working staffs. The third aspect has focused on evaluating the efficiency of public health services in the city basing on the standards of Iraq Ministry of Health and World Health Organization. It has also relied on the questionnaire's findings in analyzing some indications such as easiness of access and degree of satisfaction. The study has concluded that health services in Al-Khudr city have witnessed quantitative deficiency in the number of its facilities and staffs and qualitative deficiency in the medical and clinical specializations they lack. Moreover, many of the city inhabitants have suffered from difficulties to reach its health facilities and, thus, many of them have expressed their dissatisfaction with the performance of health services in the city. \
