تتناول الدراسة منظومة المفاهيم المكونة لمفهوم الأخلاق في الثقافتين العربية والغربية. وتنطلق من إشكالية الغموض والالتباس في مفهوم الأخلاق والمفاهيم الفرعية المرتبطة به لتقديم رؤية منظمة متناسقة لهذا المفهوم بمضامينه الإنسانية والقيمية. وتشكل الدراسة الحالية محاولة علمية لإعادة بناء المفهوم الأخلاقي بمضامينه في دائرة التناسق وتحريره من الغموض الكبير الذي يحاصره، كما أنها تمثل سعيا متواضعا لتنظيم المفاهيم الفرعية وتقديمها بصورة واضحة تتكامل فيما بينها وفيما بين مفهوم الأخلاق بوصفه الإطار العام لهذه المفاهيم. وفي هذا السياق فإن الدراسة تحاول الإجابة عن أسئلة جوهرية تتمثل في تحديد دلالات المفهوم الأخلاقي عبر الثقافتين العربية والغربية وتحديد مرتكزات المفاهيم الفرعية للأخلاق: الخير، والواجب، والضمير، الأخلاق المهنية، القيم، القانون، ورسم العلاقة القائمة بين هذه المفاهيم في إطار المفهوم العام "الأخلاق". ومن منطلق الإجابة عن هذه الأسئلة تقوم الدراسة بتعريف الأخلاق في الثقافة العربية لفظا ومعنى ودلالة وبنيانا ثم تقارن هذه الصورة للأخلاق في الثقافة العربية مع مثيلتها في الثقافة الغربية لتوضيح أوجه الاختلاف والاختلاف بين المفاهيم الأخلاقية بين الثقافتين. ثم تقوم الدراسة بتعريف المفاهيم الأساسية المكونة لمفهوم الأخلاق مثل: الخير والواجب والحق والجمال والضمير وتحدد نسق التفاعل بين هذه المفاهيم في دائرة من الوضوح في المعنى والمبنى والانتساب الثقافي، كما تخوض في مصدر القيمة الأخلاقية وفي جوهرها. واستطاعت الدراسة في النهاية أن تقدم صورة موضوعية شاملة اكتملت فيها الأبعاد الجغرافية وارتسمت عبرها الخرائط الفلسفية لأهم القيم والمفاهيم والمفكرين والفلاسفة الذين تناولوا المسألة الأخلاقية بالدراسة والتحليل.
This study deals with a set of concepts which compose the concept of Morals in both Arabic and western cultures proceeding from the problematic of ambiguity and uncertainty encircling the concept of Morals and the associated sub-concepts in order to offer a methodological and harmonic vision of the concept and its values and humanitarian contents. The research represents a scientific attempt to rebuild the concept of Morals and cast away the ambiguity in which it is encircled. It represents, as well, a humble effort to organize the sub-concepts and represent them in a clear and integrated way among them and in relation with concept of Morals considered as the general framework for all these sub-concepts. In that context, the study tries to answer some fundamental questions related to defining the connotations of the concept of Morals through both Arabic and western cultures, as well as definition the pillars of sub-concepts of Morals: goodness, duty, conscience, ethics, values and law; besides drawing the relationships between these in the context of the general concept of "Morals". In order to answer these questions the study determines the concept of Morals in Arabic culture, and defines its meaning, significance and structure; subsequently make comparison with its counterpart in western culture in order to illustrate differences and convergence between the concepts in the two cultures. Furthermore, the sub-concepts of morals such as: goodness, duty, justice, beauty and conscience are defined and the patterns of interaction between these are delineated in a circle of clarity of meaning and structure and cultural associations. Finally, the study succeeded in offering an objective and integrated image in which the geographical dimensions was completed, and the philosophical map of important concepts and relevant thinkers and philosophers who dealt with Morals issue was drawn.
