يهدف هذا البحث إلى الوقوف عند ظاهرة نقدية هي التماسك النصي من خلال قصيدة: "كلمات إلى الحجر" للشاعر العراقي عبد الوهاب البياتي (1926- 1999)؛ ليظهر لدينا مدى تحقيق التضافر بين عوالم النص المتنوعة. ومن هنا حاولت البحث عن التماسك النصي بين تضاعيف القصيدة؛ فوجدته ماثلا في دور الضمائر بتناوبها وتداخلها وتركزها في مكان داخل النص دون غيره، وفي أثر العطف على ترابط النص وتوحده بصورة كبيرة، وفي إغناء التكرار للمعاني الرمزية وتثبيتها داخل النص. وأرى أن الشاعر بما استخدم من أدوات قد نجح في إظهار النص بالصورة التي يريدها؛ فكون لحمة بين أجزائه أزاحت عنه الفصل الذي افتعله بتقسيم النص إلى خمسة عنوانات.
This research aims at investigating the critical phenomenon of textual cohesion through the poem of "Words to the Stone " to show how successful the poet has been in achieving coaction among the various textual levels. Teeming with opposites, the poem reflects genuine creativity that stimulates different readings in different places and at different times. Hence, I have endeavoured to search for cohesion among the layers of its structure and I have found it embodied in the role of pronouns particularly when they alternate, overlap and concentrate at one place of the text rather than others. On the other hand, I have also explored the significant role of conjunction in building the connectivity and unity of the text and that of repetition in enriching the symbolic meanings and establishing them in the text. The poet, in my opinion, has succeeded in manipulating the appropriate tools to come out with a text he formally divided into five parts under five titles, but is structurally cohesive and coherent.
