استهدفت هذه الدراسة فحص طبيعة العلاقة بين الخيال الإبداعي (الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية) الأسلوب المعرفي (الاعتماد – الاستقلال) عن المجال الإدراكي، وكذلك فحص طبيعة الفروق بين الفائقين والمنخفضين تحصيلياً في المتغيرات موضع الدراسة، وقيم معاملات الارتباط بينها، وذلك على عينة مكونة من (311) تلميذاً بالصف الخامس الابتدائي بخمس مدارس تمثل الخمس محافظات لمملكة البحرين سحبت بطريقة عشوائية وتم تحديد الفائقين والمنخفضين تحصيلياً وفقاً للرباعي الأعلى والأدنى لتوزيع نسب درجات التحصيل الدراسي الكلي للصف الرابع على الترتيب، وكذلك تم تحديد المعتمدين والمستقلين عن المجال الإدراكي وفقاً لدرجاتهم للدرجة الوسطة لتوزيع درجات الاستقلال الإدراكي؛ حيث طبق عليهم كل من مقياس بناء الصور الخالية، واختبار الأشكال المتضمنة (الصورة الجمعية) بعد التأكد من صلاحيتهم السيكومترية. وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام المعالجات الإحصائية المناسبة. وأشارت النتائج إلي وجود علاقات دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى (0.001) بين الخيال الإبداعي (الأبعاد والدرجة الكلية) وأسلوب (الاعتماد – الاستقلال عن المجال الإدراكي، وعدم وجود دالة إحصائية للفروق بين الفائقين والمنخفضين تحصيلياً في قيم معاملات الارتباط بين المتغيرين، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى (0.001) بين الفائقين والمنخفضين تحصيلياً في الأسلوب المعرفي (الاعتماد – الاستقلال) عن المجال الإدراكي والخيال الإبداعي وأبعاده، ولصالح مجموعة التلاميذ فائقي التحصيل الدراسي، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين المعتمدين والمستقلين عن المجال الإدراكي، ولصالح مجموعة التلاميذ المستقلين عن المجال الإدراكي. وقد تمت مناقشة النتائج في ضوء كل من الإطار النظري والدراسات السابقة المرتبطة، وتقديم بعض التوصيات بناءاً على نتائج الدراسة.
This study aimed at investigating the relationship between the creative imagination(the dimensions and the total score) and the field dependence-Independence, the values of correlation coefficients between them, as well as investigating the differences among high and low achieving students in field dependence-independence, and the differences among high and low achieving, the field dependence and field independence students, in the the creative imagination (the dimensions and the total score ), a sample of (311) fifth grade elementary school students form five schools representing the five governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain were randomly selected, high and low achieving students were selected according to the upper and lower quarters distribution rates of academic achievement grades for fourth grade, and the field dependence and field independence students were selected according to the medium score distribution of the field dependence- Independence. the imaginative image building, and the Group Embedded Figures scales were administered after confirmation of psychometric suitability. Data were analyzed using appropriate statistical procedures. The results indicated a statistically significant relationship at the level of (0.001) between the creative imagination(the dimensions and the total score) and the field dependence-independence, and there were no statistically significant differences between the high and low achieving groups in the values of correlation coefficients between two variables, and a statistically significant differences at the level of (0.001) in in field dependence- independence, differences were in favor of high achieving students, and a statistically significant differences at the level of(0.001) in the creative imagination and its dimensions and the field dependence-Independence, differences were in favor of high achieving and field independence students. The results were discussed in the light of all of the theoretical framework and previous studies related to the topic, and some recommendations were made based on the results of the study.
