استهدف البحث تقديم رؤية تحليلية عن مجتمع المعلومات والمعرفة وضرورة التنمية المستدامة. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي الاستقرائي. وتناول البحث عدة نقاط هي مراحل بزوغ المجتمع المعرفي. ونظرة تحليلية لتأثيرات ظهور الاقتصاد المعرفي. كما ذكر البحث وقفة استنباطية لتحديد مسئولية حتمية استمرارية التعلم. واختتم البحث بأن اكتساب المعرفة له قيمة في حد ذاته فهو وسيلة مهمة لبناء قدرة الإنسان وتكوين رأسمال بشرى. وأن هناك تكامل مهم بين اكتساب المعرفة والقوة الإنتاجية للمجتمع. وهذا التكامل يقوى بشكل خاص في الأنشطة ذات القيمة المضافة العالية. وأوضح البحث الاستناد بصورة متزايدة إلى المعرفة الكثيفة والتغير السريع في متطلبات الإنتاج من حيث المهارات التي ترتكز عليها القدرة على المنافسة الدولية. لذا فإن قلة المعرفة وركود تطورها يحكمان على المجتمع بضعف القدرة الإنتاجية وتضاؤل فرص التنمية. وأوصى البحث بضرورة القدرة على التطور والتكيف والتخطيط لسد متطلبات الاقتصاد المعرفي الجديد.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The research aimed to provide an analytical vision on the information and knowledge society and the need for sustainable development. The research used the descriptive inductive approach. The research dealt with several points, which are the stages of emergence of the knowledge society, and an analytical vision at the effects of the emergence of the knowledge economy. The research also mentioned a deductive pause to determine the responsibility for the inevitability of learning continuity. The research concludes that knowledge acquisition is valuable in itself and is an important means of building human capacity and creating human capital. Moreover, the article addressed that there is an important complementarity between the acquisition of knowledge and the productive power of society, this integration is particularly strong in the activities with high added value. The research with reliance has increasingly demonstrated the intensive knowledge and rapid change in the production requirements in terms of the skills on which the international competitiveness is based. Therefore, the lack of knowledge and the stagnation of its development are affecting society with weak productive capacity and diminishing opportunities for development.
