تبين لنا من خلال هذا البحث ما تميز به كتاب (مناهل العرفان) على غيره من المؤلفات في هذا الشأن، كما تبين معنى (علوم القرآن)، وموضوعه، وفائدته، وأهميته، وغايته. وقد تعرفنا –أيضا-على الأطوار والمراحل التي مر بها هذا العلم منذ العهد النبوي، ومرورا بعهد الخلفاء الراشدين، وما بعد ذلك إلى نهاية القرن الأول الهجري، وما لقيه القرآن وعلومه من عناية بالغة تليق بمكانته، وأن الكتابة في بعض الموضوعات المتعلقة بالقرآن الكريم قد بدأت منذ وقت مبكر – في القرن الأول الهجري-خلافا لما هو مشهور لدى كثير من الكاتبين في هذا الباب. ثم اتسعت دائرة الكتابة في ذلك في القرن الثاني الهجري، ثم تشعبت وازدادت في القرن الثالث الهجري فما بعده. وقد ظهرت في القرن الرابع الهجري مؤلفات تحمل مسمى (علوم القرآن)، وإن لم تكن تحوي في مضمونها ما نحن بصدد الكتابة عنه. بعد ذلك تتابع العلماء في التأليف والكتابة، ووجدت مؤلفات كثيرة ومتنوعة في علوم القرآن، منها ما هو مختصر، ومنها ما هو موسع، ومنها ما هو بين ذلك. وقد اختلفت أنظار العلماء في أول من وضع مؤلفا في هذا الفن، ولكن من الصعب أن نجزم لأحد بعينه أنه صاحب أولية مطلقة في ذلك؛ لأننا لم نحط بكل ما ألف، لكن غاية ما هنالك أن يقال: أول ما وقفنا عليه من المؤلفات كذا، والله تعالى أعلم.
through this research we found out that what characterized the book "the fountains of gratitude" to other works in this regard, as shown in the "Qur'an sciences", with the theme, and its usefulness, relevance, and purpose. We also have got on the stages undergone by this science since the prophet's era, through the era of the rightly guided caliphs. And then to the first century AH, and given to the Qur'an and its science worthy of serious attention from his place, and that the writing in some of the issues related to the holey Qur'an has started since the early – in the first century AH- contrary to what is famous for many writers in this section. Then widened the circle to write in the second century AH, and then branched out and grown in the third century AH on wards. In the fourth century, books bearing the name of "the Qur'an sciences", and were not contained in the content of what we are going to write about. Then follow the scientists in authoring, writing, and I found many and varied works in the science of Qur'an, some of which is brief, and some are expanded, and some are in between. The attention of scholars have varied in the first to put an author in this art, but it is hard to say for a given that the essential absolute in that; because we have not degenerated with all the written and Allah knows the best.
