المستخلص: This paper documents for the entry of Christianity into Sudan since the first century AD, till modem missionary activities in the seventies of the 19th century, when begun by the Bishop Danial Compony. lt also mentions the role of the British occupation in supporting these activities by setting laws and policies to assist missionary activities in Sudan. The paper focuses on Darfur which has become the target of christinisation since the Bazil conference in 1981 in Switzerland. But the time was only ripe after the crisis outbreak in 2003, when the (Save Darfur organization), which is composed of 180 associations, and numerous other missionary organisation played the main role in trying to bring the Bazil dream true. These organistions utilised the humanitarian situation, brought on by the outbreak of the conflict in the region .They have succeeded in building 166 churches but failed to achieve a parallel success in evangelizing Muslims for fundamental grounds as has been clarified by the writer .
