هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مدى تأثير الثورة العربية على الأحداث في العراق. حيث ناقشت الدراسة تأثير سقوط النظام العراقي. وتأثر العراق بثورات الربيع العربي. كما تطرقت الدراسة إلى التقارب العراقي التركي. والوضع الداخلي في العراق. والمحادثات التي جرت بين المسئولين في الحكومة الاتحادية والمحلية وزعماء العشائر. وكذلك الأزمات المحيطة بالإقليم الكردي. وخلصت الدراسة إلى أنه بغض النظر عن مدي احتساب العراق ضمن دول الربيع العربي أو استبعاده، واختلاف أسلوب التغيير فيه عن غيره من تلك الدول، إلا أنه قد تشابه معها في كل تداعياتها من حيث الأوضاع الهشة القابلة للانقسام والناجمة عن التشرذم الطائفي والمذهبي والسياسي، والأوضاع الأمنية المتفجرة فلا يمر يوم إلا وتشهد العديد من القتلى والمصابين، في الوقت الذي يخضع الجيش والأجهزة الأمنية لطرف من أطراف الصراع تلك القوات التي جرى تسريحها بالكامل فور الغزو، وأعيد بناؤها بصورة غير متوازنة ودون أن تصل إلى حالتها الأولي من حيث القدرة على ضبط الأوضاع الداخلية، وإن كان قد أعلن مؤخرا عن توجه أمريكي لتعزيز قدراتها بالأسلحة والتدريب. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The study aimed at uncovering the impact of the Arab revolution on the events in Iraq. The study discussed the impact of the fall of the Iraqi regime and the fact that Iraq was influenced by the Arab spring revolutions. The study also referred to the Iraqi-Turkish rapprochement, and the internal situation in Iraq, in addition, the conversations between the officials in the federal and local government and the tribal leaders, as well as the crises surrounding the Kurdish region. The study concluded that regardless of the extent of Iraq's inclusion within the Arab Spring countries or its exclusion, and the difference in the method of change in them from other countries, it may be similar in all its repercussions in terms of fragile and divisive situations that are resulting from the sectarian, doctrinal and political fragmentation, and the thorny security situation.
