ظهرت الحاجة إلى إيجاد وتقديم معايير خاصة بتقييم جودة المواقع الإلكترونية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات والكليات الأكاديمية. وبناء على مركز إحصاءات التعليم العالي (2012)، فقد وصل عدد أعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات السعودية إلى ما يقارب من 45.593 ألف عضو بمختلف درجاتهم العلمية. وأصبحت الجامعات السعودية تتبوأ مكانة متميزة وشعبية متزايدة من خلال تحسين المهارات التعليمية والأكاديمية لأعضاء هيئة التدريس فيها. ويهدف البحث إلى تقديم تصور مقترح عن المعايير الأساسية لتقييم المواقع الإلكترونية الخاصة بأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الجامعات السعودية، والحرص على احتوائه على الخصائص الرئيسة للتقييم و يمتاز بالشمولية والوضوح. \\ وفي ضوء الدراسات السابقة ونتائج الدراسة الاستطلاعية، تم تحديد سبعة محاور رئيسية للمعايير شملت: الجوانب التقنية، والجوانب البصرية، والارتباطات التشعبية، وجودة المحتوي العلمي، والمعلومات العامة، والطلاب أو الجهة المستهدفة، والخدمات المساعدة. ولكل محور من المحاور الرئيسية خمسة عناصر فرعية تنوعت عبارتها من بين مراعاة المعايير القياسية العالمية، إلى استخدام الوسائط التفاعلية، وكذلك عرض المحتوى العلمي بطريقة واضحة وسلسة؛ مع توضيح شروط استخدام الموقع، وبنود سياسة الخصوصية، وقوانين الحقوق الفكرية. وقد تم استطلاع آراء عينة عشوائية تتكون من 431 عضو هيئة التدريس من احدي عشر كلية مختلفة في جامعة الطائف. ورأى العديد ممن تم استطلاع آرائهم، إمكانية استخدام هذه المعايير في الحكم على جودة هذه المواقع من أجل تقديم الأفضل وللارتقاء بمستوى الأداء والفاعلية.
There is a need to discover and present standards for assessing the quality of websites for the faculty members in the Universities and academic colleges. With respect to the Center of Higher Education Statistics (2012), the number of faculty' members in the Saudi Universities have reached approximately to 45593 members with different types of positions and rankings. The Saudi Universities have occupied a privileged position and has increasingly became popular through the improvement of educational and academic skills of their faculty members. The research aims to provide a suggested basic standard for evaluating the websites of the faculty members in Saudi Universities. Furthermore, the standards were established to ensure that it focuses on the main aspects of the assessment that are characterized by comprehensiveness and clarity. \\ In the light of earlier studies as well as from the results of the questionnaires, there are seven main standards that were identified which includes: technical aspects, visual aspects, hyperlinks, quality of the content, general information؛ students or the target audience and technical assistance services. Each of these standards contain a number of considerations ranging between taking into account the international standards, to the designing of interactive media, as well as presenting the content in an understandable and organized manner. The standards also includes the guidelines for the terms and conditions to use the university faculty website, its private policies and copyright intellectual rights laws. They were a random of 431 faculty members from eleven different colleges of Taif University who were considered for the questionnaires. The result of the study shows that the possibility of using these standards in evaluating the quality of these sites provides better competence and raise the level of performance and efficiency
