المستخلص: يهتم هذا البحث بدراسة ظاهرة استبدال المعاش في نظام التأمينات الاجتماعية بدولة الكويت، عن طريق بحث نظام الاستبدال وشروطه ومزاياه، والتطورات التي طرأت عليه من خلال التعديلات الواردة على القانون الأساسي للتأمينات الاجتماعية؛ وذلك لدراسة مدى رضا المستبدلين للمعاشات عن الظاهرة محل البحث، من خلال بناء النموذج المساري لتحديد العلاقات السببية بين مكونات النظام ومدى التأثيرات المباشرة وغير المباشرة لها على رضا المستبدلين للمعاشات بما يحقق الاستقرار في العمل.

In this research, a path analysis model, using structural equation approach to study the causal relationships between the system of social insurance in Kuwait and the insured clients satisfaction, is established and justified. Direct and indirect effects of input variables are assessed to discuss the significance of the relationships. The analysis revealed several facts regarding the current system. Although the current changes in the social systems provided some advantages, these achievements are not enough to gain clients satisfactions. More benefits are anticipated from the government to maintain the required balance in social structure. It is also evident that the current system of social insurance lacked fairness between who are still in the work force and those who are retired. We recommend revision of the current system to mend such deficiencies in order to achieve a reasonable balance between premiums and the exchanged amounts. We also recommend that further investigations are needed to continually monitor any development, updatings or changes in the current system of social insurance.
