المستخلص: This study aims at identifying the impact of economic inflation in Jordan and its effects on the Jordanian citizen via standing on what inflation phenomenon haunt and even threaten the social balance and interdependence of community, even become a living citizen and food security - the red line - uncovered to large extent. Because a state of uncertainty prevails in the visions of the future, though language of figures seems easy, its illustration is difficult, and interpretation and analysis are more difficult, and therefore the researcher used the books, references, previous studies as well as reports of the Department of Statistics of Jordan. It has been shown that the phenomenon of inflation - including the mean higher prices and the lower purchasing power - has effects and clear implications on the size of savings and demand deposits, and stagger the investment process, and the spread of the behavior of dangerous social undesirable, in addition to dumping the citizen in debts and borrowing, and that the vast majority of citizens are under the absolute poverty line, which is eight hundreds and fourteen Jordanian Dinars.
