المستخلص: The research aims at the increasing role of natural Gas in the world power balance, the capacity these countries have, and identifying the most important projects: the current & future ones . It also aims at determining the difficulties that encounter the exports of these countries . The value of the research lies in the fact that Arab countries have special capacities with the increase of natural gas shares in the world power balance. Therefore, the development of gas industry and export in these countries represents one element of their strategy in decreasing the dependence of these countries on oil incomes, and supporting their share in the world power market. For the explanation of the theme of the research, the research has tackled the discovered and undiscovered gas provision , the development of production in gulf countries , and the possibility of expanding their exports towards the EU and Southern Eastern Asia, with the increasing importance of natural gas in the world power balance and the future role which it occupies in the world market The research also displays the most important future projects which these countries aim at implementing in the field of gas . Additionally ,it tackles the challenges which encounter the gas exports of the gulf countries to the world. It has finally been concluded with the most important conclusions and recommendations.
