|b The study of plastic Art discourse in the cooperative council of the Gulf and the way this discourse deals with the folklore shows the visual impact that is decoratively framed by the artistic product . This is but a valid document indicating certain phenomena some of which have been hidden by certain aspects of contemporary civilization. Anyhow, modernism is enriched by the work of a number of artists who are fully influenced by a situation of peace and security created by the social interwoven structure of an economic balance . Hence , the deeply rooted gulf conventions have continued to resist all varieties of western invasion. This objective study falls into four chapters. The seven samples covered by this work are distributed as follows : three from Kuwait two from Saudi Arabia and other two from Bahrain . The conclusions of this work read as follows: 1- The Gulf plastic art is based on ideology which forms a basic component of the gulf society . 2- The Gulf artist has applied contemporary western technology that matches with his western academic background. 3- The mixture of contemporary technology, situational themes , and both formal motives and local myths have turned into unique aesthetic values.
