تقوم الحياة الإنسانية على الاتفاق والاختلاف، على السلب والإيجاب، الخير والشر، النور والظلام، الحقيقة والزيف، ومنذ بدء الخليقة والصراع قائم ماثل. بدأ الصراع مع إبليس، ثم مع النفس ومطاوعتها، مما أدى إلى خروج آدم من الجنة، ثم يتكون الصراع بين بني البشر بقتل أحد ابني آدم أخاه، وهكذا، فالصراع سنة حياتية. ويقوم الأدب بتمثيل حياة الإنسان والتعبير عنها خير تعبير ويعد المثل من أصدق هذه الأقوال تعبيرا عن فلسفة الحياة وأحوال البشر، لما يتمتع به المثل من القرب من حياة الناس وتمثيله للعامة والخاصة وقدرته على الوفاء بالتعبير عن الأحوال المختلفة، فهو يعبر تعبيرا اجتماعيا وبيئيا صادقا عن المجتمع المنبثق عنه. وهو يعبر عن الطبقات جميعا. وفي هذا البحث سنسعى-من خلال قراءة نماذج ميسرة من قصص الأمثال العربية القديمة كما يرويها الميداني-إلى استنتاج ثقافة وطبيعة المجتمع من خلال ما تظهره لنا لغة الأمثال وقصصها.
Human life is based on agreement and disagreement; advantages and disadvantages, the good and evil, the dark and the light; and truth and falseness. The conflict initiates since the creation of humankind and started with the Satan and then with the self (the Ego) and it's taking over which forced Adam to go out of paradise. Then this is followed by a conflict among mankind by the murder committed by one of Adam’s sons who killed his brother. Thus, conflict is the tradition of life. Literature represents and better expresses the human life as the proverb is considered as the most credible expression that reflect the philosophy of life and the conditions of humans. This is because the proverb is closer to people’s life and represents the common people and the upper class, its ability to reflect the difficult situations. The proverb credibly expresses the social and environmental realities of the community as well as all the different sectors and classes of the community. This paper attempts to deduce the nature and culture of the society as reflected by the proverb language and stories through reading some examples of some simplified and valuable Arabic proverbs stories as narrated by Elmaidani.
