هدف المقال إلى مناقشة موضوع بعنوان الشارقة عراقة الماضي ونضارة الحاضر. وكشف المقال عن احتفال دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة باختيار الشارقة عاصمة للثقافة الإسلامية بناء على انطباق شروط ومعايير حازت عليها الشارقة بجدارة وتميز. وأشار المقال إلى أن عاصمة الثقافة الإسلامية ثلاث كلمات لها دلالاتها. حيث أن العاصمة لا تكون لغير الأشمل والأكبر والتي تضم ما لم تضمه باقي المدن وتشمل العاصمة الجانب المادي من مرافق ومبانِ وطرق وبنية تحتية. أما الثقافة فتتضمن الجانب المعنوي من حيث الفعاليات والأنشطة والممارسات وتعدد الجوائز والمعارض والمسابقات. وأما الكلمة الثالثة الإسلامية فهي ترتبط بالتخصص في البعد الإسلامي الذي شمل المرافق من مساجد ومؤسسات ودور الخدمات التي تخدم البعد السلوكي الإسلامي. واستعرض المقال أهم عوامل اختيار الشارقة عاصمة للثقافة الإسلامية وهي تعدد وانتشار وتوفر المساجد كدور للعبادة وعلى طراز إسلامي ومعماري متميز. والتقيد بالمحافظة على البيئة من خلال منع شرب الشيشة في جميع أنحاء إمارة الشارقة ومنع التدخين في الأماكن العامة ومرافق النقل ومقر العمل. وصدور قانون الاحتشام للمحافظة على العادات والتقاليد والقيم العربية والإسلامية الأصلية. كما أكد أن الشارقة تعتبر مدينة بلا حواجز بما تفرضه القوانين من ضرورة مراعاة حركة ومرور المعاقين وتسهيل تقديم الخدمات.كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The aim of the article is to discuss the topic entitled Sharjah, the past rootage and the present freshness. The article revealed the celebration of the United Arab Emirates for choosing Sharjah as the capital of Islamic culture based on the compliance of the conditions and criteria that Sharjah has won with distinction and excellence. The article pointed out that the three words "capital of Islamic culture" have implications. As the capital is not for the non-comprehensive and larger, which includes what is not included in the rest of the cities and includes the capital in the material aspect of the facilities, buildings, roads and infrastructure. The culture includes the moral aspect in terms of events, activities, practices, the number of prizes, exhibitions and competitions. The article reviewed the most important factors for the selection of Sharjah as the capital of Islamic culture, which is the multiplicity, spread and availability of mosques as houses of worship and in a distinctive Islamic and architectural style. Moreover, the adherence to the preservation of the environment by preventing the smoking of shisha throughout the Emirate of Sharjah and preventing smoking in public places, transport facilities and the workplace.
