This Study takes into consideration various matters as it covers the new born South Sudan state and its historical relation with Sudan, the general aspects of the Sudan and South Sudan economy, the economy of the countries neighboring Southern Sudan state, the notion of economic integration and the Customs Union as a way to economic integration, and economic policies aimed at promoting economic cooperation. The Study also considers commercial relations among these countries by narrating the historical progress of trading between them, their commercial trading aspects, and the role of joint trade in enforcing economic integration between them. Finally, the paper dealt with the most prominent findings, in addition to some recommendations related to the paper's subject.
