تبحث هذه الدراسة في مواقف العلمين واتجاهاتهم نحو التربية على حقوق الإنسان في المدرسة الكويتية المعاصرة. وقد أجريت الدراسة على عينة وطنية كبيرة ممثلة بلغت 1807 من مختلف المحافظات الكويتية ومختلف المراحل التعليمية. وقد بلغ عدد المعلمين في العينة 38,39% مقابل 61,7% للمعلمات. اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفي في تحليل مواقف المعلمين واتجاهاتهم من واقع تدريس حقوق الإنسان في المدرسة الكويتية. ومن أجل هذه الغاية صممت استبانة محكمة لدراسة هذا الواقع والكشف عن جوانبه المختلفة. وخرجت الدراسة بمجموعة من النتائج تتمثل في وجود نزعة كبرة عند المعلمين لتدريس حقوق الإنسان والدستور الكويتي في المدارس الكويتية وقد بينت نتائج الدراسة أيضا أن أغلب أفراد العينة يرون ضرورة تخصيص تدريس حقوق الإنسان سواء عبر مقرر مستقل أو إدماج هذه الحقوق في المناهج المدرسية ولاسيما مناهج العلوم الاجتماعية. وقد تأثرت إجابات أفراد العينة تأثراً إحصائياً جوهرياً بعدد من المتغيرات المستقلة، ورفض عدد من الفروض الصفرية لصالح الفروض البديلة، وقد شمل هذا ٣٨% من الفروض الصفرية التي اعتمدت في البحث. كما أن الدراسة قد خرجت بعدد مهم من التوصيات المتعلقة بنتائج الدراسة وبطبيعة تدريس حقوق الإنسان في المدرسة الكويتية المعاصرة.
This study discusses the teachers attitudes and their trends towards education on human rights in the contemporary Kuwaiti school. The study was carried on a large representative national sample which reached 1807 participants from all the Kuwaiti governorates and different educational levels, and in the 38.39% male and 61.7% female. The study used the descriptive method in the analysis of attitudes and the teachers trends according to teaching human rights in the Kuwaiti school. For this purpose a well-designed and refereed questionnaire was employed to explore this reality and the revelation of its different aspects. The result of the study revealed the existence of a strong inclination of the participants towards teaching human rights at the Kuwaiti Constitution in the Kuwaiti schools. The results also revealed that the majority of the sample expressed a necessity for teaching human rights either in an independent course, or as a part of another course specially the social sciences courses. The individuals responses of the sample have been statistically significant due to a number of independent variable, and a number of null hypotheses have been reputed representing 38% in favor of the alternative hypotheses of the null hypotheses formulated for the study. A number of important recommendations related to the resultants of the study and the nature of teaching human rights in the Kuwaiti contemporary schools has been formatted.
