المستخلص: This thesis is a critical edition of only a half of AL-Jurjani’s celebrated work Durj Al-Durar. This effort, with other one carried out by second scholar, aims to revive this important work and publish it. The thesis falls in two parts. The first is devoted for the study in the book. The second comprises ten edited texts of Durj Al-Durar concerning the Suras of Al-Fatiha, Al-Baqara, Aal-Imran, Al-Nisaa, Al-Ma’ida, Al-An’am, Al-Aaraf, Al-Anfal, Al-Towba, and Younus. The first part is subdivided into four chapters: The first is on Al-Jurjani and the book. The second is about the bases of Arabic Language and its syntax. The third chapter deals the Linguistic and Phormological Phenomena. In the fourth chapter I describe manuscripts of the book, and my method in editing it critically. The importance of the book is mainly because of the following reasons: 1- It collects scholars sayings and opinions in AL-Qur’an explaininig. 2- It evaluates the different opinions. 3- Its richness in different linguistic, morphological and grammatical discussions. 4- It preserves many value quotations taken from an important books.
