Allah, the most glorious, assigned to prophets the most significant mission of informing and guiding the mankind to path of Allah. The honor of holding the mission is particularly allocated to prophets and messengers for their high and magnificent status. In spite of this, Allah has been giving this honor to righteous ordinary people who like to direct others, so they got the honor of profession of preaching. As the importance and critical impact of preachers on recipients' attitudes and the image of Islam in the world ,this study aimed to gather the prophetic Hadith that spot light on the attributes that each preacher should have to worth the honor and gravity of this position. This study based on three methodologies, inductive, critical, and analytical. The researcher gathered the prophetic tradition that related to the topic of this study from the nine known books of Hadith, then classified, explained and interpreted it according to methods used in Islamic studies in Hadith. The study consisted of six chapters that covered the most important attributes that should be hold by any person intend to be a preacher . The chapters are as follow: 1. First chapter: The concept of the mission and the preacher. It covered the linguistic and terminological definition of both the mission and the preacher, the relationship of the mission to other terms and Islamic sciences, and the status, importance and goodness of the mission. 2. Second chapter: preacher's moral attributes. It comprised of honesty, altruism, forbearing, generosity, compassion, fairness, mercy, modesty, and forgiveness. 3. Third chapter: preacher's knowledge attributes. It covered preacher's wisdom and knowledge. 4. Fourth chapter: preacher's faithfulness attributes. It illustrated preacher's loyalty, having trust in Allah, and being ascetic. 5. Fifth chapter: preacher's psychological attributes. It covered patience, persistence, upgrading Islam, courage, and carefulness. 6. Sixth chapter: preacher's practical attributes .It covered preacher's role in setting him self as an example, adopting facilitation, cooperation, reconciliation, and kindness.
