من أهم التحديات التي تواجه العملية التعليمية في مجتمع المعلومات، الأخذ بنظام التكنولوجيا في التعليم، والقدرة على استكشاف الطرق الجديدة للتعليم، واستنباط حلول جديدة تستند إلى معرفة الوسائل التكنولوجيا الحديثة المستخدمة في التعليم، والتمكن من تصميم بيئة مناسبة للتعليم التفاعلي والإبداع في استخدام مثل هذه الطرق واستثمارها وإخضاعها لحاجات المتعلمين. وقد هدف البحث الحالي إلى توضيح كيفية توظيف نظريات التعليم والتعلم وتضمينها في استخدام تكنولوجيا التعليم لدى أعضاء هيئات التدريس بالكليات الجامعية ، ولتحقيق هذا الهدف — عرض الباحث إلى الموضوعات الآتية: أولا: مفهوم نظرية ثانيا: التقنيات التربوية ثالثا: نظريات التعلم، رابعا العلاقة بين استخدام التقنية التربوية ونظريات التعليم والتعلم، خامسا: نظريات التعليم والتعلم وتضمينها في استخدام تكنولوجيا التعليم، واستخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي للوصول إلى هدفه، وقد تم التوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج ومنها: أن الإلمام بنظريات التعلم يمكن أن يكون خير سند لأعضاء هيئة التدريس عند اختيارهم لاستخدام التكنولوجيا الملائمة في عملية التعليم والتعلم، وأنه بالرغم من اقتراح الدراسات السابقة أن هناك علاقة بين وعي المعلم وإلمامه بنظريات التعليم والتعلم المتنوعة وبين استخدامه لتكنولوجيا التعليم، فإن هذا يحتاج إلى إثبات وتأكيد من خلال إجراء دراسات كمية ونوعية.
Some of the most significant challenges that confronts the educational process nowadays are the application of technology in the field of education, the ability of exploring new teaching methods, as well the ability to elicit new resolutions based on sound knowledge of up-to-date technology employed in education. Furthermore, the ability to design an appropriate interactive and creative learning environment to utilize such methods and make them satisfying learners' needs. This study aims at illustrating and clarifying how faculty members at university colleges employ educational and instructional theories in their use of educational technology. Thus, to achieve that aim, the researcher discussed the following topics: - The concept of theory - The concept of educational technology - Theories of learning - The relationship between the awareness of different theories of education and instruction and the use of educational technology - Theories of education and instruction and their implication in the use of educational technology. The researcher used the descriptive analysis method to achieve his goal. The findings he came out with are as follows: - Faculty members' awareness of different types of educational and instructional theories will help them in the selection and use of appropriate educational technology in their teaching and learning situations. - Even though the related review of literature on this matter suggests that there is a relationship between faculty members' awareness of such theories and their use of educational technology, this study has suggested that such claim needs to be proved and further emphasized through more quantitative and qualitative studies.
