There were many available privileges in poetic choices books , which led them to be main books of Arabic Literature, and important source of Arabic Poetry, the students of these poetic time depend on them, besides, those who investigate in affirming pomes and the correction of their origin, beside there criticism importance. These books are different in their importance according to curriculum of book and the nature of its written. So (Al-Hamasa by Abu Tammam Divan ) book considered as the top of these books from the written side and curriculum side. From this point we decided to choice this study in our thesis (Abi Tamam Chooses in his Hamasa– analysis study-). We divided this study to preface and three chapters, in preface we dealt with the origin of poetic choices and their development, also we in meaning of Al-Hamasa at Abi Tamam, in chapter one: we concentrated on the incentives of this choice, its procedure and importance. In chapter two we studied the art sides of Divan poets beginning from literature language then article image and ended by rime and music. Chapter three shading a light at rhetoric science in its four parts (similarity, imagery, metaphor and metonymy) clearing the beauty of these parts by referring to the most important results by this study as the following: 1- (Al-Hamasa by Abu Tammam Divan ) considered as the first text book in poetic choices books, its writer arrange it according to its parts of Arabic poet purposes. 2- There were reasons and incentives led to write this divan, such as nationality, literary and criticism the most important one is nationality. 3- The most important privileges of poetic choice in this divan is the artistical goodness side and rhetorically esthetic. At the end we ask Allah to be fortunate in this study, and only Allah who give me the chance of successful.
