The study aims to analyze the poetic text in a comprehensive way, which applies a complementary approach to the study to get access to the reading, contemplating and assessing of the old text to explore the general and specific characteristics of the texts and their aesthetics. It aims to show the general points of variation of these texts in the light of a multi-critical course accessing the subject through the poetic text itself. The study is classified into an introduction, three chapters, conclusion and bibliography. The introduction is classified into two sections. The first section presents a summary to the conception of Tabaqa (Stratum) in the old Arabic criticism as a standard of comparison among poets. The second shows the position of the four poets and their merits whether to occupy the second Islamic stratum or not. The first chapter studies carefully the openings and their symbolic implications to unmask the lost past and pessimistic present of the poet, and their imitation with reference to former traditional samples. The second chapter studies the journey which includes the description of the camel and the desert animal. We mentioned the symbolic stories which the poets make use of in their poems and personal experience. The third chapter is more close to realism than symbolism. It deals with the theme, which expresses the poet’s ambition to reach his aims through certain stylistic steps. We have presented objective introductions to the chapters to keep the independence of the study and presented an accurate analytical manipulation. The range of the study is clarified in the three chapters because the subject is so comprehensive. The study ends with a conclusion that sums up the findings of the study and the list of references.
