المستخلص: The changes which the algerian society witnesses after its entrance to the economy of market has participated to agreat extend in awakening the conscience to the importance of media in general and economic media in particular, as a result to the role it plays in succeding the country’s development economic plans. This pushes us to study the privatisation subject, which is one of the economic subjects, theme of controverses and discussions among the specialists: economists, journalists and readers. As journalism is one of the means of discussion that has the responsibility in enlorning the fienlds of discussions and ideas, ans is one of the most important means of communication, we have chosen samplis from different newpapers with different languages in this study, as follows:El-Chaab(public-arabic), El-Khabar(private-arabic),El-Watan(private-french),El-Moudjahid (public-french), thorough (110) published numbers, from January 1st to December, 31st, 1994. We can conclude that the development subject haven’t a clear political stategy in the four studies newspapers. We have also marked that ther’s a lack in the way journalism treated the privatization subject? especially the content of the journalistic matter in El-Chaab, El-Khaba, El-Watan, El-Moudjahid, that will have negative effects on the role of economic media in achieving its gools and on media in general. all that retums to the diffeculties and problems journalism suffer from in general and economic journalism in particular.
