إن التراث إمتداد الماضي في النفوس والعقول والعادات، والحياة دوام لا يقبل الأنقطاع ولا البتر، والتراث ميراث وفيه حياة، فأية عملية لإحياء التراث ليست في الحقيقة إحياءً لما هو (ميّت) ولكنها تصحيح لطبيعة الأرتباط وتقرّب من التراث بشكله الصحيح وينابيعه الصافية، وتقويم لمعناه ومفهوماته وإنعاش لتذوقه وإستيعابه.... وفرصة كبيرة لإنصافه، فكان من أجمل الموروثات كتاب (حسن التوسّل إلى صناعة التوسّل) لشهاب الدين محمود الحلبي، الحكمة الضالة وجدتها فألتقطتها كنت أحق بها، فدرسته بتقدديم ترجمة دقيقة عن كاتبه وظروف تأليفه للكتاب، وبينت إن كان تراثياً مخطوطاً أم محققاً مدروساً، وعرضت مادته من حيث المحتوى والتقسيم، وبينت مصادره ومدى أثره في ما أُلف بعده، ووضحت أسلوب عرضه للكتاب ولغته، وخلصت إلى تقييم الكتاب بتبيان أهميته وأثره في المجال المعرفي الخاص به. ومع أن الكتاب ومؤلفه لم يحظيا بالرعاية والأهتمام من صيت ودرس في حدود علم الباحث، إلا أنهما لا يقلان عن سواهما تصويراً لعصرهما، ولا جدارة بالكتابة الفنية والقراءة التاريخية. وهكذا فإن دراسته حق، وما هي إلا وقفة إنصاف لأحد كتب التراث أحسبها من النسيان العلمي أو الظلم التاريخي الذي حلَ بتلك الحقبة، فلعلها تبعث البريق والأمل في مدة زمنية لو تفقدنا أو معنا النظر فيها لوجدناها أهم العصور وأميزها.

To the best of the author's knowledge shows the book of "Shehab Al-din Mahmoud Al- haalabi" (good begging makes good messaging) has got the stray wisdom. The author studies the book as a vital legacy rather than investigated study, the researcher goes through the material and contents of the book, the researcher points the significant of the book as arich collective reliable reference. Though the book and his author wasn't fully recommended on their time, it still goes hand in hand along with the other dychronic and synchronic production.
