المستخلص: The Islamic Nation has always come up with prominent scholars in different sciences and knowledge. Every country of the Islamic world always witnesses many of those scholars who become as a reference in their knowledgeable contributions. Yet, some of the Islamic countries, like India, has suffered lack of Islamic sciences and scholars. However, by the blessings of Allah, there were some men who enriched these countries with their exceptional works. One of those scholars is Imam Shabbeer Ahmed Al-Othmani Al-Hindi. This study investigates Imam Shabbeer's opinions, sayings and preferences in his book "Fathul Mulhim – Sharh Sahih Al-Imam Muslim". The study focuses on the introduction of this book for its great value; it collects what was dissipated in the science of Usul Al-Hadith with a spectacular investigation of different scholars and ideologies. The importance of this study is embodied in the fact that the scholars of India and Pakistan had great efforts in the science of Prophetic Narrations (Hadith) in the Arabic and Islamic world. However, there are some names that are still unknown among scholars, and Imam Shabbeer is one of those names. So, this study tries to bring this Imam's name into the light by revealing his efforts and contributions in Usul al-Hadith science. The study has found that Imam Shabbeer has his own style in revealing the opinions of Hadith specialists. He agrees, in many places, with the scholars of Hadith science, but he always has his own voice as he gives his opinion. Finally, I thank Allah, the Almighty, for His endless blessings and kindness that made this work possible.
