يهدف بحثنا هذا للتعرف على مصطلح حقوق الطفل، ومعرفة المراحل التي مرَّ بها إلى أن وصل إلى ما هو عليه في العصر الحديث، والتعرف على أبرز الاتفاقيات الدولية والإقليمية المتعلقة بحقوق الطفل. ولأجل الوصول إلى هذا الهدف قسم البحث على ثلاثة مباحث رئيسة هي: المبحث الأول : وقد جاء بعنوان:((مفهوم حقوق الطفل))،وقد تناولنا فيه معنى الحق في اللغة والاصطلاح، ومعنى لفظة الطفولة، ثم بيان المراد من مصطلح حقوق الطفولة. والمبحث الثاني: وقد جاء بعنوان : ((التطور التاريخي لحقوق الطفل))،وقد تناولنا فيه التطور التاريخي لحقوق الطفولة، وقد تناولنا صورا من هذه الحقوق لدى الحضارات القديمة (الصينية، الرومانية، اليوناينة)، وحقوق الطفل في العصور الوسطى ممثلة بحقوق الطفل في الإسلام، وفي أوربا، ثم حقوق الطفل في العصر الحديث. والمبحث الثالث : وقد جاء بعنوان : (أهم الاتفاقيات الدولية والإقليمية المتعلقة بحقوق الطفل) ،وقد تناولنا فيه أهم الاتفاقيات الصادرة في شأن حماية حقوق الإنسان عامة، وحقوق الطفل خاصة.
Our research aims to identify this term Rights of the Child, and to know the stages that went through that arrived to what it is in the modern era, and to identify the most prominent international and regional conventions on the rights of the child. In order to reach this goal the search section on the head of three sections are: The first topic: The titled : ((concept of child rights)), we have dealt with the meaning of the right to language and terminology, and the meaning of the word childhood, then the statement is meant by the term rights of childhood. The second section was titled : ((historical evolution of the Rights of the Child)), we have dealt with the historical evolution of human childhood, we have dealt images of these rights among ancient civilizations (Chinese, Romanian, Aleonaana), and children's rights in the Middle Ages represented the rights of the child in Islam, in Europe, then the rights of the child in the modern era. The third section was titled : ((the most important international and regional conventions on the rights of the child)), we have dealt with the most important agreements issued for the protection of human rights in general, and especially the rights of the child
