The aim of the research is to uncover the cultural roots of the Arab divisions. The research dealt with several points, which were represented in two basic perceptions to clarify the manifestations of division and polarization phenomena in the Arab mind and society. The first perception is the "objective/ sociological", from which the vision of the "cultural" humanitarian group movement can be deduced after it has been determined in its historical reality in all its aspects. The second realization of the cultural phenomenon is the "subjective/ ideal", which is based on a sacred text initially and is subject only to the interpretations of human beings when they attempt to formulate, according to it, and through them their intellectual and political visions with different destinies of individuality and privacy. The research pointed to the problems faced by the cultural individuality and included exaggeration in highlighting the contradiction with the cultural or intellectual other, and the indulgence in hating the other as they are advancing. It also explained the influence of the two perceptions on the relationship between culture and politics, and followed the intellectual crystallization in the political process. The research concluded that there is a need to renew the intellectual and political currents, especially the four major movements that played important roles in the twentieth century. Those currents are the liberal current centered around Al-Wafd, the left-wing current centered around the Unionist, the Arab nationalist current centered around Nasserism, and the moderate Islamic current, which is looking for a new center after the break of the Brotherhood center; provided working on the terms of civilizational Islam and civil state.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن الجذور الثقافية للانقسامات العربية. وتناول البحث عدة نقاط تمثلت في إدراكين أساسيين لتوضيح مظاهر الانقسام وظواهر الاستقطاب في العقل والمجتمع العربيين. الإدراك الأول هو (الموضوعي / السوسيولوجي) الذي يمكن استخلاص منه رؤية حركة الجماعة الإنسانية " الثقافية" بعد أن تكون قد تقررت في واقعها التاريخي بشتى جوانبه. أما الإدراك الثاني للظاهرة الثقافية فهو (الذاتي/المثالي) الذي يستند إلى نص مقدس ابتداء ويخضع فقط لتفسيرات البشر عندما يحاولون أن يصوغوا به ومن خلاله رؤاهم الفكرية والسياسية بأقدار متباينة من التفرد والخصوصية. وأشار البحث إلى المشكلات التي تواجها الذات الثقافية وتضمنت المبالغة في إبراز التناقض مع الأخر الحضاري أو الفكرى، والإغراق في كراهية الآخر كلما زاد تقدمه. وأوضح البحث تأثير الإدراكان على العلاقة بين الثقافة والسياسة، وتتبع التبلور الفكرى في العملية السياسية. واختتم البحث بضرورة إعادة تجديد التيارات الفكرية والسياسية وخصوصاً التيارات الأربعة الكبرى التي لعبت أدوراً في القرن العشرين وهي التيار الليبرالي المتمركز حول الوفد، والتيار اليساري المتمركز حول التجمع، والتيار القومي العربي المتمركز حول الناصرية، والتيار الإسلامي المعتدل الذي يبحث عن مركز جديد بعد انكسار المركز الإخواني، شرط العمل على شروط الإسلام الحضاري والدولة المدنية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
